It's not perfect and was slightly pink but for it's age and price, cannot complain at all!

Paintworks coming up beautifully thanks to socks' detailing.

Was a super bargain tbf.

Plan was originally to be sleeper styled but a few bits needed decisions making so pretty set on it being 'Glanza'd' now... Always had a massive soft spot for red glanza's so it'd be rude not too pursue my dream now I have the opportunity! :)

no interior.... sex.... wee :) I'd love to strip the GT bare and go mental but....... Not conveniant as a daily car ;) Really looking forward to seeing this come along :) nice buy

I'd love to keep it that bare inside, just a seat, steering wheel and a family of gauges mounted to the brace bar, would be sweeeeeet as!

But like you say, just not conventional in the real world. ;)

You'll have to arrange with mr bear to come down sometime n see it in person, wouldn't mind seeing the GT I hear so much about n of course, meet your good self too. :)

ill update this on behalf of mark... :)

pulled the shell out into daylight yesterday afternoon for first time in a while to give it a thorough clean!

u can tell the rear quarter has been detailed and nothing else lol!

DSCN2496.JPG

started to de-grease and clean the bay!

DSCN2497.JPG

DSCN2498.JPG

out with the pressure!

DSCN2499.JPG

the car came with no power steering, we managed to find a PAS conversion kit. including rack, bottle, lines, pump & steering column.. however the dash support bar is different...

so we removed that...

ontop of that we hoovered all the shite out of the shell. alot of dust build up and general poo! so we cleaned all that up so she is proper clean now :)

DSCN2500.JPG

DSCN2501.JPG

and our lovely friend shorty is going to send us his glanza one! ;)

so... the bay dried out and looks loads better:

DSCN2502.JPG

DSCN2504.JPG

we are collecting a glanza rear bumper in red tonite and then waiting on shorty's package to start to put interior back in with the all new V wiring loom :) im sure Mark will keep u posted about that ;)

ill update this again with a small update, as Mark is once again on a shift at work! B)

We spotted and won a Glanza Rear Bumper, already freshley sprayed, in the exact color we needed! Bargain at 80quid! So i collected that yesterday daytime...

IMG00556-20110605-1201.jpg

looks loads better:

IMG00563-20110605-2108.jpg

then we got down to some protection! The shell is in such good condition underneath that it'd be a shame to let it go to waste! so out with this good stuff:

IMG00561-20110605-1948.jpg

relaxing job actually :p

IMG00562-20110605-2005.jpg

under the back, was not even rusty! but we'd rather keep it that way!

IMG00559-20110605-1916.jpg

IMG00560-20110605-1947.jpg

We managed to get the whole under/back done up to the fuel tank... rear beam, panhard, rear legs, spare wheel well etc.

but we ran out of light and energy so packed up, got home and bidded on this item and won!

zorst.jpg

Bargain! :p

More To Come Peeps!
