  1. I'm in the middle of updating my thread on TGTT so thought I'd do a post here for the giggles. To recap we need to wind ourselves back to 2009. Not sure what you lot were doing at the time but I was looking a sensible car to replace my auto GT on the daily commute. I had all intentions of a diesel VW Bora. Then I paid a visit to Trevor of Japimports4U Ballymena, importer of quite a few tasty EP's over the years. So this happened.. A heavily modded mk1 GT in my favourite colour powered by a freshly forged 5E. The K26 was set for 1.6 bar which turned out perfect for the d
  2. Apologies for the delays on these, yesterday was one of those 'productive' days so it triggered a late night editing session. Jay
  3. Just sharing a few pics from the meet today: Jay
  4. I have no idea of how many miles I've clocked up between all of them but my 'main' auto GT arrived with 83k in 2006 and it's sat on the drive at the minute with 230,319kms on it. It lasted two years before the modding started. Meanwhile the garage ornament has managed 2 kms in the same space of time. 2 km. I've walked fucking further today.
  5. Youngsters..purchased mine in Feb 2000 and she's still here: Still not the longest owner though. Macker (founder of TGTT) has had his longer than me.
  6. The awesome ones don't die - they just get more awesome. KrissyB has her!
  7. Trying to clear the backlog to make way for this little lady Philius, looking forward to getting my paws dirty. Everyone else used paint - I'll be using 10-40W thumb prints to make this one fly again!
  8. There's always one.. #COUGH# #COUGH#
  9. Stick your decal on your mug. Simples!
  10. Also your forum doesn't like me copying and pasting text so excuse the fine print..
  11. Was pretty much thinking the decal approach would be nice, something in an appropriate colour to suit each anniversary perhaps? 30th is pearl/diamond so EP70 owners have a white/pearlescent decal. 25th is silver so EP80's get a silver decal. 19th is bronze so EP90's would get a bronze decal (Jan is technically next year but still it would be better than a backdated 18th porcelain approach). Maybe I'm putting too much thought into it and a 30th decal would do everyone fine? Co-ordinating meets in the winter time would be cool but the venues would probably need to be indoors. It's doubtfu
  12. Just putting this out there as I've been giving it a bit of thought. This year will be the 30th anniversary of the EP71 Starlet (Oct), the 25th anniversary of the EP80 (Dec) and the 18th anniversary of the EP90 (already gone in Jan and nobody noticed lol) so should we celebrate this awesome event? I'd thought about a commemorative decal to mark the occasion might be appropriate? This sort of involves the whole EP community so it might be good to all sort it together Please discuss, Jay
