  1. Thank you, i did find the problem..loose connectors inside the map plug, luckily had an extra loom from the original car....fitted perfectly and no more issues. Only idle is a bit high but i can hear a vac leak
  2. I just finished my rhd to lhd conversion, looms are original and untouched besides the obvious modifications needed for lhd (mostly dash harness suffered these). When engine was going back in to the lhd chassis the original TPS got broken so I ordered a new one, aftermaket but just like the original 3 wire on/off switch type. When starting engine it sometimes has a hard time to do so. When it does it idles a little jerky. And when I touch the map sensor, the car dies..I thought bad wires, but its not the case because I tried a diferent map sensor, from a 2jzge (non turbo)...it starts at the t
  3. Any chance the ep91 wiring is same as the ep82 mk2 cluster (also 3 connectors)? I have a mk1 cluster 2 plugs and a mk2 loom 3 plugs...
  4. Hello, I'm currently on a conversion progress (right handed ep82 to left handed ep8*) so I can run a turbo starlet on my country... Got the engine runnning recently after being stored a few years, runs OK, heats up a bit...but the main problem is I've got the radiator fan running whenever ignition is on and a high idle....don't have the cluster plugged in yet (mk2 loom and mk1 cluster, needs rewire). Sounds like idle is at about 1500 -1800 rpm... I know when you remove the A/C you need to bridge some conector to stop, at least, the rad fan, but since I didn't remove it myself, I don't know w
  5. This is a great tutorial! But can some of you say if the mk2/3 ep82's cluster has the same pin out? Since its a 3 plug cluster too... I can't find any info on these clusters regarding wich wire goes and comes from
  6. Awesome stuff! Please do...ive been told and I can confirm on the mk1, the rear of the cluster shows which wires go and come from
  7. Hello starlet gods, im here to see if any of you cam find/ take a photo of a mk2 cluster/clocks...i recently got a full mk2 loom to put on my mk1 since mine was all f'ed up. (Many thanks to the member who supplied it!) My main problem now is to join the mk1 cluster (2 plugs, all identified) on the mk2 loom wich has 3 plugs and I cant get any info about wich wires do what... Heads up on people attempting mk1/mk2 swaps...a lot of sensors on the engine bay need the apropriate connector plugs, quite a few to replace on looms. After finishing this, i can make up a little guide on everything that n
  8. Hello starlet enthusiasts! Im from the Azores and I am in a middle of a far too long swap ep80 to ep82 lhd, so I can run it 'legal' Namsayin'!? Hehe I just posted on the wanted section that I am in need of an almost complete wiring loom for the mk1 ep82, a messed up loom was in my existing car, maybe some of you experts could handle it, but I don't have the time and patience.... So, im hoping to post videos and photos of the car soon (that would mean id be driving it ) its been far too long just looking at it and no vrum vrum. In the meantime ive been terrorizing my neighbours with a lightly m

    Ep82 GT loom

Hello from Portugal! Most accurate from the Azores (the little set of small islands in the atlantic you probably never heard of hehe) As the title says, Im in need of a wiring loom for a mk1 EP82 starlet, i need the loom from the headlights to the fusebox (included) and the wiring loom behind the dashboard....so pretty much everything aside the engine loom and rear loom Can anyone of you guys supply this? Reason is a messed up swap on the current starlet, sniped and snaped loom. Please say yes! It would be the only ep82 running in portugal! Thanks
