  1. Sorry for the slow reply - I looked back into this and the project stalled as I need to borrow an ST185 GT4 2-pot caliper and carrier to double check the fit etc, and that never happened. If you're still looking for discs and could lend me the bits I'd need I'd be more than happy to restart this planned product?
  2. Hi, we can supply those - I'll message you a quote ASAP, the pricing is probably out of date currently. (Also Wilwood are not related to WMS in any way! )

Sorry guys - I'm still here but I don't still don't get a notification when people post here for some reason. I'm working through an email/PM backlog, if you don't hear from me soon please re-send your message as I might not have got it. Thanks!
  6. The calipers are on the shelf and there are more of the 277/275mm brackets being made, 295mm are on the shelf, 260mm brackets are due to be milled next after the 277/275 size. So the kits are available but with an extra week lead time on the 277/5mm size and a bit longer on 260mm.
  7. We have a 260x25mm 4 pot kit designed and the material is ready to mill the brackets - there are a few people interested in this so it's high on the jobs list. Assuming it's a 55mm hub car, the info is here (54mm fit is still possible) > http://www.ukstarletowners.com/topic/28281-wms-brakes-for-55mm-hub-starlets-92-99-ep82ep91/

  9. We've got more WMS caliper bodies due here VERY soon, I've seen photos of them being packed by the CNC guys....... :D
  10. Discs are stiffer if the vanes twist, but to cast two parts when one "will do" costs more. I used to get handed Supra discs, the part number had an L or R after it - but that's rare. The Merc ones are drilled in a (single) spiral too! So it's in people's faces that they are being tight....but 99% of people wouldn't notice so they obviously decided to save some cost.
  11. A lot of OEM discs that have spiralled fins are NOT handed - like these! Really annoying, Mercedes do this a lot even with genuine AMG spec parts. It must mean that one disc will always be hotter than the other, meaning one will bite and fade earlier than the other. It offends me greatly!!
  12. We're still doing the kits, they are out of stock at the moment but more are on the way...! The manufacturing lead time isn't as bad as it was a year or more ago, although the kit batches do sell pretty fast.
  13. Did you decide on a pad / disc combination? We get far better feedback from people using D2500 than EBC Red/Yellow....
  14. Have you seen our "110%" (heavy duty) discs? We normally supply them along with Ferodo DS2500 pads, the feedback on them has been good. :-)

Thanks for the offer - I reckon we're on the right track but will bear it in mind! In the end it looked like the people we were dealing with were going bust (one did for sure). I got an email notification for this, bonus!

We have replaced several suppliers and are moving forward.......more ETA details as soon as I have them. There are some calipers being made right now (new supplier for the main CNC parts) and the kits will be available again, I apologies for the correspondence backlog and will be trying to get on top of that ASAP. (by the way I'm still not being notified when people post in the WMS section for some reason!)

    Rear Brakes

The 2-pot caliper is no longer in our range so I'm afraid not. There is a plan to have a smaller 4-pot caliper which may make this possible again...
  18. It would be a slick move for the forum software companies to create a tool that allows a user to download their images, host them on the forum, and edit all the links, automatically! BUT........I bet photobucket will have a thing that detects an account suddenly accessing all it's images at once and stops it working. I'm disgusted with them, they have destroyed the work of millions of people who have invested their time to help millions of other people learn online - just to make the minority who are willing to pay $400/yr cough up.

I'll get back to you soon (couple of other guys needing discs soon too)....I've got a slight "glitch" with our disc supplier..... .....they've got bust! Which isn't helpful. I don't have much luck with suppliers! Pretty big UK company too, rubbish news all in all. Once I have a replacement (disc) supplier up and running I'll be in touch, I'll be aiming to get the same deal etc but it might change the pricing if I can't hence the delay.

Ah, sorry about that - I'll drop you a message now...!
  21. DS2500 pads with our WMS 110% (heavy duty casting, grooved or plain) discs get good customer feedback, retaining the original calipers....
  22. Over time some of the T20 calipers had 4 bleeders, some had 2. On the ones with 2, the bleeders go at the top, the blanking plugs go at the bottom. This kit is the new type with the reworked T20-S caliper (Alu pistons, larger single-part bleeders, additional piston seals). I don't THINK air would cause lop-sided braking as long as the front calipers are on the same circuit as each other. If the car uses twin circuits and there's air in one then it can't equalise in the same way if the master cyl runs out of travel. If you can find / make a set of say 8mm or 10mm pad-shape shims (wood wil
