  1. Fairly sure these are made by the same company who make eagles etc which are used all over the world especially by the yanks. Handful of people have used them on here and i havent seen a fault yet? afaik SCAT Are made in china also so wouldnt be surprised if they are the same. I used them on my 5E and there was no problems, they came with spec sheets, They where balanced to within 1gram like SCAT etc. Also picked up a set of SCATs for a 4e build i was going to do and they where the same end of the day a basic forged H Beam rod is not difficult to produce, As long as they are well forged
  2. I don't think you need to explain why you did it micky but if you just mentioned a few words I'm sure everyone would side with you. Let them know lol
  3. Catch cans are setup in various ways, most people just run 2 breathers to a can and block off the inlet port, However this isnt ideal as the PCV Wont work correctly as it hasnt got a vacumm pulled on it. Best way is to run 2 breathers to a tank, Then a 3rd line running to the inlet so it still has a vacuum pulled on it to remove the gases. There is a link somewhere with a diagram of a proper setup but im not sure where it is!
  4. Nice update, Car is driveable and pretty much ready for an MOT. Few photos showing the buildup below, All went pretty well considering and the car runs absolutely blob on. No fuel cut, No smoke, And feels nice and quick for the moment! Suspension needs looking at and i need a new timing belt cover but apart from that im happy. And yes that is my old intecooler from the glanza, Its still Huge lol Toff
  5. Ahhh fair enough can sometimes get away with it but theres always the chance you will get that :/ Your not having much luck are you!
  6. Go as slack as you can on the actuator mate to run the lowest boost, But yeah as above make sure its got some tension to hold the penny shut!
  7. Yes gainzy 13 is to lean that's a nice figure for a nice N/A motor 14.7 is perfect burn (stoichiometric) 11s on a 4efte are bang on. Most plug n plays are too rich and are low 10s most of the time!
  8. Epic thread Charlotte love how your doing it all by yourself as well. Need to have another meet when my GT is sorted. Paintwork I wouldnt even dare attempt! just out of interest as well when you were replacing shells etc were you checking clearances etc or just praying they were right? I bet the first bearings on it were fine rather than 2 sets of unset ones! Hopefully it's the last time you will have to rebuild it lol
  9. Very useful bits of kit. Gained popularity over the last few years as there cheaper now. Most setups are fine yeah but always worth being able to keep an eye on fuelling. Especially on full boost/throttle!
  10. Would recommend running a wideband as well to check your fuelling mate.
  11. Omex, bee r of the top of my head. Can adjust how hard the cut is as well on some
  12. If its over on that side of the loom with injectors alteRnator knock sensor try map sensor etc? Lambda is a single wire
  13. That's cool, You mean just add the correct inputs etc and leave the stock loom in place? Ie just a plug n play standalone and add the inputs?
