Morning Guys, This Morning on the way to work, I was nearly at the office after taking it easy waiting for her to get up to temp. On the final stretch I decided to give it a little more, but not the bull beans, and there was a big bang, like a misfire. immediately turned the engine off as it sounded like it was running on 3 cylinders, and rolled the rest of the way to the office. Got outside work and popped open the bonnet, oil has sprayed all up the back left of the engine bay (around the alternator and brake cylinder) so I got my generic mobile mechanic friend to come and look... as

I'm finally after about 2 years, buying a Glanza, I've found one I like however I'm not the biggest fan of the wheels on the car, any ideas what will look nice? Not a fan of black wheels on black cars, they just don't do it for me.. What do you think?

Okay guys, I do apologize if this topic has been covered before, but i have some queries. So ill be looking at getting a glanza in the new year, and was wondering about importing one. I know about the import tax, but anything else. For sale is my 1998 Toyota Starlet Glanza V, TD04 in 040 white and absolutely immaculate condition, I have been putting this off for months but the time has now come Overview: Year: 1998 - R(Imported in 2010!) Model: Starlet Glanza V Turbo Tax: 31/03/14 - 5 Months MOT: 15/10/14 - 12 Months Mileage: 126000 - The car was converted from KM at 99,454, and reads miles from thereafter, this therefore equates to the car having roughly 86000 miles from new. I have a certificate to state when it was converted, I also have a certificate confirming the mileage it was imported with is true and correct. -

This is my first Starlet after selling my Fiesta which was my first car. Always been into my jap imports but hadn't heard of GT Turbos and Glanzas until a mate of mine at work bought his GT. I knew I had to get one if I could insure one. Eventually, I managed to get hold of this Glanza. It's a 1998 Glanza V with about 65,000 miles on the clock. Was imported in 2008 and is in what I would call good condition for it's age. After I got it I took off the window tints, re-fitted the front bumper to re-align it and welded up the holes in the exhaust. Heres how it stands now http://www.ukstarletowner

My new HKS turbo timer (Type 0) requires being plugged into the handbrake 12v warning light. Does anyone know what colour wire this would be behind the dials, or should I just route it to the actual handbrake area? I imagine that's easier. Let me know what you've done if you've fitted one Cheers

Took my car out on a track for only the second time yesterday, with a whole load of new handling and engine mods, and new brakes, so as you'll see I was being a bit cautious. She wanted to understeer a few times and oversteered once but not everything was captured on the vid as the memory ran out! Enjoy -

Does anyone know if mid-sections on a glanza exhaust system are the same shape and length of a standard n/a exhaust?
