still smokes whenever off boost

As from recent post I had new stem seals put in valves all cleaned and re cut a new td04 core from mellet so UK made and it still smokes only when you have been on boost and let off if I keep it off boost no smoke what so ever it's like a whitey blue colour going to go buy a compression kit now so I can test it hope it's not rings runs mint though

The PCV valve can sometimes cause that if you still have one and not a racespec rocker cover?

Hi mate ye I tested the pvc just before I got stem seals done you could blow through it but not such it so that's okay I think just took timing cover off to check timing that's all ok I can borrow a compression tester tomorrow see what that shows

You know how to do the compression thing mate or do you need to know?

HI pal yes I know how to test it borrowing one tomorrow I'll post results up tomorrow cheers just hope it's not rings I could rebuild it myself but it's all the measuring that puts me off lol

Yes Paul mate had to go through all the measuring myself was a pain but had help on here and git through it just have patience and your be fine mate

ye mate I've had read of your posts a few times some good info just going to check dizzy timing again don't think i put it 10 degrees btdc while i wait for compression tester

Right I've checked dizzy timing and cam belt that's timed up on the marks so that's not me problem still waiting on me mate for comp tester now if I blip the throttle the revs drop right down sometimes it dies but if I pull vac pipe of dump valve it ticks over nice rev it and drops to same revs put pipe back on it wants to die checked pic that's okay I think am lost with it

Just finished compression test and number 1 has 90 psi other 3 150 so that's my problem rings are fucked gutted this was me daily car might look into a 4efe motor and put my inlet manifold on head on and sump run low boost so I can still use it for work while I get mine fixed if that's possible any one done that before any help would be great cheers
