RobSR
Year: 1996 Model: Glanza V Tax: N/a MOT: March 2017 Mileage: 140,200km Description: Time has come to move on from the Glanza. Looking for something abit larger and more practical. I have been in the starlet scene for the last 8+ years now and have carried out all the below work on the car myself to the highest level. The car has been designed to be tracked, so it is stripped with one seat, no heater etc. The light weight makes it good fun for sure. Its running apprx. 240BHP on the standard lump, but on the road due to weight is similar to a 280 odd full weight car. Engine bay has been recently repainted, wire tucked etc. I havent really seen another like this, especially with the fuel system too! Im asking for around £4750 as the car is unique and the work involved to get the engine bay to said level. Just needs a forged engine dropped in and the boost turned up. The turbo should do close to 400 on a properly built engine. Any questions please feel free to ask. The full build is here as theres a hell of a lot of work in this so its worth a read - http://www.ukstarletowners.com/topic/90944-robs-precision-boosted-track-build/ Engine/Drivetrain, -Recently refreshed 4efte - new timing belt, water pump, valve stem oil seals, rear main oil seal, injector seals and head cover seal. (I do a have an electric pump I can offer in with the car, you will just need some lines made) Exterior. - 98 Spec front bumper with ID-Workz lip - Gen. optional rear lip - Carbon reverse bonnet scoop recently re-lacquered - 98 Spec rear lights - SR Speedlines recently refurbd in Nissan Cosmic gold. No kerb marks etc. NS2R front tyres with bridgestone Potenza rears. Chassis/Braking/Handling - Cusco Carbon front strut brace - Tein coilovers with pillowball mounts -Performance grooved discs and mintex pads - Motul RBF 600 fluid - Full abs removal with Toyota hardlines, HEL performance tails and custom rear lines through car - Tilton adjustable brake bias valve mounted inside. - New balljoints - New track rod ends - New wheel bearings As with all Glanzas it is now circa 20 years old so there is a couple of bad points. General age related marks, but its definitely one of the better ones ive seen. An alignment wouldnt go a miss as this has not been done since the new bearings/track rods etc. Front left topmount clicks and the wiper motor needs to be replaced. RobSR
I think you ment to say ive decided on a gtr 😂😂Both have different perks, but it probs will be a GTR lol. Yea I wasn't really sure how much it was worth. It's because it's not forged which will put some people off id imagine. Not that it needs more power with the weight !
