1996 LHD 3dr EP91 "Fifi"

Today only tooked teenager mirror tinting away from rear side glasses, bye bye, hated those. Next satin black doorframes and lightest tinting for all windows exept windscreen. Everyday have to do someting little for the car...

Was looking for some Paseo parts today and noticed one annoucement. Rare car here in Finland, because never imported by Toyota, so every car is imported. Some engine failure was problem and I like challeges, so it was must to go see if can take some parts for my EP91 or EP70. Result was that one more in my family, had to buy because it was so cheap, i'm drowning cars :/

Legendary big block 5E-FE, main reason to buy car. Former owner said that some bang sound came and power lost after that. Engine still worked, but klonking noise. Checked fault codes first and 24 code only, and found that plug was out after changed air filter. Then spark plug cheking and those were horrible condition, loaned from my Starlet and then starting. Better idle, but still same noise. Then located fault to one loosen intake valve, cylinder four. So engine must open or try to put new valve locking nails. I have few spare heads so no big deal, just hoping that bottom is ok.

Have seen better days, have to think what to do with this. Car is with Estonian licenceplates, but taxed in Finland allready, needs registering mot. Have to clean and check propely first, then made moves. I do have one bolton 4E-FE engine for this if wanna drive fast :/

Cluster swapped and working, maybe need some speedo needle adjusting with gps, haven't tested yet. Next central locking swap from Paseo, plug and play sockets founded from Starlet. Next few days gona get five glass tinting, rear 35% and sides 25%, have to try paint door pilars and frames before that.

Fuck, hellou police :/ Last night my friend tinted windows and my wish was to get lightest tinting for side windows and one step darker rear window. But he didn't have lightest and convinsed me that next level is okay. Too dark for me, maybe have to take those away, haven't seen in day light yet. And now it's so must to paint door and B-pilar frames to black color, and mirrors, hated those white anyway without tinting film...

Not best place to paint pilars and frames at parking slott area, too windy wheather also, too many fuck words with this and neibourgs looked me at that eye again. Didn't have time to go anywhere inside, ratchet can painting, better than nothing. I have paintguns and 2K paint, but no aircompresser at home.

Yesterday welded better exhaust connection, because exhaust was leaking behind catalyzator and before rear muffler.

New Apex airfilter and blocked all vacuum fume hoses from intakepipe.

Tooked red part tinting film away, so rear don't look too dark maybe, have to buy lighter film later, better now I think, not so police magnet...

Changed Corolla intake manifold, waste of time, same as Apex airfilter. Idiot job to hunt few ponys, thank god parts were free spare parts laying around. Don't try these, turbo is only way for fatty EP91....

At least you got electric mirrors... Mine doesn't... (Euro base model life....)

I don't have, only Paseo adjuster adopted, have to figure how it can be done, Paseo won't fit staight. Maybe Glanza mirrors are cheapest way, if can find somewhere. Otherwise electric mirrors are so stupid mod if same person is driving car every day...

So why didn't you like the Rolla mani mod, what was the problem? I am thinking about doing this to mine.

Expected much better torque with sligthly longer runners, but it only feels very little on low revs. When reving, can't feel any difference and these engines need revs :/

Better wow effect is when changing narrow 13" wheels or taking sparewheel and tools away from boot. So maybe there is +10hp and +10Nm , that isn't anything after driving some turbocars. Taking all weight away and adding better flowing manifolds and airfilter can get few car cap in speed competion or 1/4 mile.

Intakemani can be changed, but message is that don't ecpect any difference, very expensive ponies if You have to buy all parts with thick wallet :)

ITB is too far away from original dailycar building, i'm not going that sweet sound world :) Good headwork and exhaustmanifold and ITB are sweet, but then engine/head shoul be with independent cams ang G-head, just like 4A-GE.

Yes I had noticed the switches in a earlier pic, 1 at each corner. Is that factory fit? Because UK cars don't have hole for switches there. Also your time clock is fatter that UK or Jap clock.

Factory euro lhd Paseo, some German model, even lhd euro Starlet have ready to fit hole in cluster surround. Clock is horrible, looks like swollen pussy :D
