turbominicooper Posted July 27, 2016 Share Posted July 27, 2016 If your doing 2k solid then 1 litre plus 1/2 litre hardener 2:1 (1.5l) will get you 2 coats over the exterior. Same for laquer. Base coat will be 1-2 litres depending on color. Silver or yellow will take more coats then black for example. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
Gainzy Posted July 31, 2016 Share Posted July 31, 2016 I would say 2 litre's for a 2k. 2k paints should not need lacquered as you should get the shine through the layers you build up on as for base coats you can add thinners to the mix so you won't need as much but always handy to have spare it just depends on what paint you want Quote Link to post Share on other sites
