Bluebear
Lovely to see they still love the Starlet over there! Those Vitz's look mad, are those a Gazoo Racing special edition or something? Never seen them with those bumpers or vents beside the headlight. Are they aware of the popularity of Starlets on UK and Irish shores? Curious if they ever trawl through user build threads and stuff on our sites

Corey
Imo they went to the next level outside Japan years ago some of the builds from around the world are incredible. None of them in those pictures really stand out to me. Some sweet cars yes but still meh all been done to death nothing new or innovative. Great to see there is still a scene there though. Great to see there is still a scene there though. But at the same time most other builds are made with replica parts. Have you ever seen the twin engine zep track car with s14 subframe don't let these pics cloud your judgement. The Japs were doing what everyone else is doing over 10 years ago and still getting better results!
Corey
I posted the pictures of that twin engine car on here. I got my first starlet over ten years ago I know the scene and some "high spec" cars they sent over here were modified would shit them selves a couple of weeks into ownership my own including from hatchet jobs mod which were mind boggling. They seemed to loose a lot bhp on th boat over too haha. Yea there was a couple of stand out cars over the years but look outside Japan of the caliber of cars been built Sachas car the Maltese lads in Zisco all the cars that have been built in Ireland and the U.K. over the last decade.I don't think much came out of Japan which I've seen anyway matches to the same standards of the top builds outside.Maybe there is some treasure who knows. I think the envelope was pushed by Starlet owners outside Japan over the last few years for sure. Edited November 12, 2016 by Corey
