Alamo ASC 0.6mm Headgasket

Recommended Posts

I do know its had a head refresh since it was built originally but not sure if they put another 1.6mm gasket in?

I'm not running a massive turbo and big boost so warrant lowering the compression that much

Ah right I'm I right in thinking yours is only a sprint car though?

Wiesco pistons, scat rods, acl bearings, balanced bottom end, standard rebuilt head

Came out of this gt

Yeah I do use it competitively yes, but have logged temps on longer trackday events etc without issues (so long as the coolant is well cooled)

Do you not have any idea on the pistons then?

Wonder was there a build thread by the original owner somewhere?

That's is all I know unfortunately maybe other people on the forum know more about the car?

get a specific thread up, be good to try and track that down.

you could fire a bore scope down and have a look at the piston tops.

not full proof but wisecos are usually pretty standard.

From what I remember buddy it's a old TMD engine from way back when and was build with scat rads and wisco pistons if that helps at all I also know that Barry was a frequent visitor down a Fen sport so I'd fire a call over to them because they may of had it open and had a play around with it. Hope that helps
