TuckerEP91
Just changed the front speakers in my dash. From 4 to 6.5inch components. They actually fit haha. However they're still no louder.. I get that they don't have a proper enclosure so wouldn't have much depth but how come they're so so quiet. I've tried different decent head units.. No difference. Has anyone any ideas? The only thing I haven't tried is new speaker cable as haven't had chance. Or do I need to amp them? I'm not worried about depth like that as have a sub anywayCheers
teta
tune on your player ( equaliser, gain, loudness etc)
SpikeyJp_68
A decent rms power is what you need. The closer to max power the better the speaker/sound
westie
The placement is totally crap as they're pretty much pointing at the floor, if you can be bothered with the work it'd probably be better relocating them to the doors.
