Glanza idles spot on.. Bogs/wants to cut when rev

Recommended Posts

Ive changed absolutely everything, ignition, throttle position sensor, map sensor, ecu, dizzy cap, rotor arm, leads, checked timing & compression, its all spot on.. fuel filter, starts an idles fine, even unbolted the manifold incase exhaust is blocked .. earths are ok, no air leaks.

Diagnostic test/ No fault codes.

soon as try to rev, it wants to bog an cut out 😂

The fueling/air has to be wrong as brand new plugs are now solid black and cannot figure it out.

Then You have start loom checking, start from that fuelpump ground, it's somewhere near back floor or pilar, check resistance with ohm meter, then plus wire to fuelpump relay etc. There is also huge grounding points under dash, near fuse and relay boxes, where many thing are connected together, have you seen those? Many are saying always to check groundings, but those are always a must to check, after that plus and signal wires, horrible job but if You have changed almost everything, I don't see any other route to go?

As the engine runs spot on and gearbox is all good.. thinking to just break it now mate.. you are exactly right in saying check those things but just giving up now lol

Had the exact same problems on one of mine chanaged everything like you did still no result i took the ecu out turns out the ecu was shot replace it all was good maybe look into the ecu also if you have a fcd installed and its gone faulty it will cause bogging and bad fueling aswell .
