Pikey009
Looks good but on absolute drugs with the price! Also not sure how it can have a Carlos plaque when it's an import RC. http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/Toyota-Celica-GT4-RC-Carlos-Sainz-No-1631-of-5000-/142293216801?hash=item2121562e21%3Ag%3AM0wAAOSwhlZYsx8S&_trkparms=pageci%253A7969a388-fd17-11e6-86f0-74dbd1809780%257Cparentrq%253A80c0a9a815a0a624b7f0ee95ffe7fe42%257Ciid%253A8
daniel_g
Pic 11 on ebay of it kept in a plastic box. It should be out in the woods getting rallied about like it was built for! Edited February 27, 2017 by daniel_g

Pikey009
There's another for 5k in black ha ha. I'm all up for old toyotas making a bit more money especially when you see the prices of other jap cars of the same year but it's taking the mick a bit.
morgey
Thats rediculous, if they were actually a limited build of sub 1k but 5k isnt realy a limited run is it. Hell they only made 750 SR's they must be worth 30k by now surely?
Pikey009
I used to own number 1 of 100 Impreza gb270 wagons and only got 12k for that- was immaculate with 28k on the clock. Mind you just look at the old fords and how much they're fetching
morgey
That would have been worth hanging onto. The TME evos are going for crazy money these days. A mate got his for sub 8k and now youd be lucky to get one for less than double that. And dont get me started on the 22b impreza!!
daniel_g
Homologation cars are mad priced. Just need to look at the old spec B cars, RS200, Delta S4, Quattro etc.
Pikey009
Yeh they are aren't they. Gt4 st205 wrc's are still dirt cheap and one of the most capable road cars of the lot. Ooo I do love a good TME (saw one for 40k the other day) and the 22b's are gorgeous but like you said mate crazy money. The gb Impreza wagons don't seem to go for loads but the rb320's are holding well. A good celica gt4 is a decent investment at the right price and will start going up soon I think, a lot of badly modified ones out there though. Some stupid priced ones too being shifted between dealers too. Seems folk are now asking anything from 1500 up for projects. I've just started to strip the head of mine to see why it's lost a cylinder.
glanzanut22
If I had kept every Vauxhall nova I had ever owned, I could retire tomorrow
DanSR
Mental price, 80s/90s car prices have rocketed in the last couple of years but some people do take the piss. Just 5 years ago my mate sold his Fiesta XR2i for £250 had he kept it until now he'd get quite possibly 10x that. Also agree with the post about Novas, a good one these days will cost you a pretty penny. Edited March 1, 2017 by DanSR
Calum122
I love those RC's. How many other cars come factory with a water to air intercooler. It's just mad.

Calum122
Every st205 gt4 but I know what you're saying, way advanced for their time The key word here was OTHER. Genuinely would like to know what other cars came with water to air intercoolers. I think it's common on outboard motors.

The normal spec 185s didn't so it's not a given that every celica gt4/ 3sgte car has the same set up. I don't think any of the caldinas old or new had them either.
