SpikeyJp_68
I should also mention i have changed the engine, dash and loom that goes to the fuel pump and changed the fuel pump to a glanza one. All bits off the same 98 glanza
SpikeyJp_68
Okay so i think ive found the problem. The plug in the previous pic is for the abs controll module ive been told. There is also a plug coming off the rear loom that looks to carry the live for the pump (blue with a white tracer). This is down by the acceleratorI tried mocking it up on the old na dash and rear loom but the same plug is still redundant ? If anyone could tell me where this plug goes im hoping that should solve my problem. Any other help is greatly appriciated

akyakapotter
You don't hear a starlet pump prime with ignition on anyway. Think it only happens when cranking. Cheers nick.

SpikeyJp_68
Thats perfect thanks guys. Im nearly sure when it was n/a it primed on ignition thats where i thought i was wrong
lukEp
It only primes on ign if it's been left for a fair amount of time. Mine primes when ign is turned on but if you turn off and straight back on it doesn't do it again until left for about 5mins.
