paddy Posted April 17, 2017 Share Posted April 17, 2017 I've got a project glanza that I've just put back together but it won't start. It's not been run for over 6 years. It's a fresh gt engine, It has a spark on all 4 plugs, everything's plugged in, earths are in place, 12 litres of fresh fuel, it has fuel to to end of the rail but I'm not sure if it's quite enough. I've got a new fuel filter on the way, anyone got any suggestions on anything else to check? Timing is spot on on the cambelt Quote Link to post Share on other sites

5e colin Posted April 17, 2017 Share Posted April 17, 2017 new feul filter !!! try starting and spray easy start in the intake manifold if it fires up you know its feul related best to renew everything mate as time has dried out everything and coroded the terminals etc etc clean everything well Quote Link to post Share on other sites

paddy Posted April 28, 2017 Author Share Posted April 28, 2017 Was fuel pump, had a quarter of a tank of brown petrol, took off tank blasted it out with a jet wash, replaced fuel pump, now runs lovely Quote Link to post Share on other sites
