maddox710 Posted May 15, 2017 Share Posted May 15, 2017 Can't see the point tbh, only really applys the direct injection engines in my eyes. The port injection on the 4efte continually squirts petrol down the intake ports of the head, which naturally cleans carbon. But if your bothered about any other parts of the engine I.e exhaust side, if that's got an excess build up of carbon that's probably due to fueling problems which need to be sorted prior to the cleaning or it will build back up again immediately Quote Link to post Share on other sites

Nafeez2125 Posted May 17, 2017 Author Share Posted May 17, 2017 Im sure mine is overfuelling take a look at the spark plugs. it looks like its running rich. ive been told that the stock ECU is suppose to run rich. It doesn't smoke but when you touch the inside of the exhaust there is a layer of that black sooth Has any one heard of or use marvel mystery oil? Quote Link to post Share on other sites
