RockyJRT
I own a 1998 Toyota Stalet SR, whenever I start it up on a cold engine the car almost chokes and struggles to get above 500-750 rpm. If I rev the car gently and hold it at 1000 rpm it seems to go away (I know this is not right as I should let all the fluids flow round but it is the only way it seems) and then I can start driving. Would anyone be able to point me in the right direction with what could be wrong? I have searched the internet and cannot seem to find anything.
5T4R7ET N/A
Sounds like my car after i removed the wax in the throttle body. I think the na starlets do have coolant lines to throttle body so check themIf thats ok, then the usual rotor arm, dizzy cap and spark plugs etc.
