It's all sanded down and primered basically ready for paint. Engines running and healthy. Hopefully he'll have it MOT'd by next week!Really have a soft spot for a MK1 GT.. Adam-Gt- Posted December 3, 2013 Author Share Posted December 3, 2013 i hope you kicked off with the seller and got some form of compensation back for mugging you off, as it was quite clear they were aware of the damage. great to see you restoring it though!I did let the seller no what had happened and he didn't seem to care just said sold as seen so not a lot I got do really , she will be good in the end tho my gt is 6L2 and i think its a great colour its my favourite out of them all be interesting to see what you pick in the end im lookin forward to itYea I do like that 6l2 I'm still unsure what colour I'll go but keep an eye on this project will be nice !!
