Finished my 5efte conversion, engine was running fine the other day drove it out of garage to wash it and left it idling in the drive, then it cut out and wouldn't start at all, left it sit for few hours and tried again still nothing....

Pushed back into shed and left it for the night, came out and jumped it next morning and she started first turn, I switched it off and tried to start it again and wouldn't start, plugs soaked in fuel , it does have spark aswel which is strange...

About and hour later I jumped it again and i was cranking it over for about 30 seconds and she eventually started to splutter and it ran like shit for about 5 seconds and then started running fine...switched off tried to start again and wouldn't start again....

Engine was stone cold every time I tried to start it

I tried changing dizzy, map sensor , ecu temp sensor , checked ignition timing and timing marks on belt are correct

Any help appreciated, can't seem to get anyone who knows about glanza engines to look at it

It's a custom loom being ran so there is no diagnostic port to look for codes

At the ecu, put a paper clip between TE and E1 then wire a LED between W and ground. This will give you your diagnostic codes.

My money is on temp sensor wiring being wrong - maybe sensor earths joined into main earth array by mistake?
