ive done it in total i think 5 or 6 times

a few without the primer and the last few i did with primer

those with the primer i sanded inbetween layers

so first... after i sprayed the primer....i wetsanded it

than applied the first gloss black coat

then sanded it again..... light sand

than the 2 last coats without sanding

make sure u warm up the spray can( i boiled sum water first.....threw it in a big bucket of water and than put the spraycans in it...gives a better spray flow apparently)

make sure u shake it alot also....... like ..... ALOT!

and i never used clearcoat  ^_^

Warming up the bottles works great indeed. I guess i shouldnt use the clear then... I was hoping for more shine.

I will try sanding it down and only using black.

-edit, i can always polish it ofcorse.

I threw on a extra layer of clear and that kinda solved the problem. I do have to wetsand the runs out of it tough :(.

Once i sanded and polished the grill it started to look much better:

One thing i saw when i was browsing for ideas is to remove the lower grill. I figured that it would help for cooling and i like the look so:

I still have to refit the license plate with a smaller surrounding and fit it higher so it doenst block the air flow.

Hot some O Z 14 inch rims that (imo) suit the car. The fitment up front is spot on.

I need the 14 inch to fit the Paseo brakes.

Now i have to decide what color i want, gray or silver. Color suggestions are welcome! Might do gloss black :o

FML. U know how a half An hour job can turn into a day? So, i tried to drop the engine in but never realised i had to put the Starlet engine mount on the engine, NOOB, i know...

I was lucky enough to find the mount in my pile of parts. I sold the engine with the mount that bolts on the engine.

Went to all the scrapers in the area, no one had the mount.

So i decided to make it fit. 2 of the 3 points Line up, i only have to drill and tap one hole in the 5efe mount.

True, i figured out that i still had the most important mount. Only thing is, the one that fits to the block and to the other mount is missing. Fixed it now tough, pretty sure it is strong enough.
