External wastegate advice needed

I'm in the process of fitting a K24 turbo kit but I'm having to replace the Sard C-2 wastegate. Can't find a second hand one for love nor money so rhdrivejapan are my only choice, trouble is I have 2 spring options, 0.5 or 0.8 bar.

Engine won't be forged for a while but will have a good electronic boost controller fitted. Which spring do I order?

Until I go forged I'll want to keep the boost within safe limits but after, wind it rite up to its full potential (see if the kit really is good for 300+)

.8 would be the base pressure and ebc is used to increase boost pressure?

Yes mate you could even just run base pressure knock ebc off for now 0.5 would be a waste imo. When you go forged you could even run it in at 0.8 then set the ebc up properly on map day.
