Starlet N/A Sportif to Paseo White clocks.

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

I am looking to put paseo white clocks in my 96 Starlet Sportif which has no rev counter. My question is, does anyone have a clock pin diagram for both sets of clocks so I can see what I have to change in regards to the pins.

Any help would be much appreciated.

The starlet wiring diagram as shown above what I believe to be the closest to my car. the paseo diagram is correct as I compared it the my recently purchased clocks.

Can anyone help me with what wires would need swapped.

Cheers,

I went through the two diagram and identified what pins are found on both clocks and outlined the changes as shown below.

When I completed that I found that on the starlet wiring diagram the following pins are missing:

  • A7 (Seatbelt Light) which I don’t have a seatbelt light on car so probably don’t need this.

  • B2 (ABS Light)- don’t have ABS so probably don’t need this.

  • C9 (Ground)- Not sure what ground this is for.

On the Paseo diagram:

  • A10 (Tacho Pulse from the ECU)- what feeds this pin as the starlet does not have the tacho

All help greatly appreciated,

Matthew Ruddock

Should already be a wire there, thicker brown wire I believe from memory its in the loom already, both of my sportif and my 'S' had it, it shows in some of the clock changing/adding tutorials section go have a look through there
