Shyam Posted October 4, 2017 Share Posted October 4, 2017 Hi Guys, Im going to be converting my auto to manual this weekend. The gearbox is out of a GT and we believe it has a TRD LSD. After some reading, Redline 75w90 has been well recommended. Question, Do i buy Redline 75w90NS or 75w90 ?? BMX-RIG Posted October 4, 2017 Share Posted October 4, 2017 (edited) I had this same question a few months back, i have a TRD plated diff and changed the box oil and wasent sure what to use. Normal 75w-90 non lsd specfic or anything made it really clunky at low speeds. i changed the gearbox oil for this one https://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/motorsport/gear-oil/red-line-75w90-gear-oil and it solved all of my issues. BMX-RIG Posted October 4, 2017 Share Posted October 4, 2017 im not sure but i dont think so, i do have the paperwork for mine which suggests to use TRD's oil, which is discontinued lol. i bought my oil from opie oils which is a similar price. maddox710 Posted October 5, 2017 Share Posted October 5, 2017 Just a good quality dexron2 is what I used on my old lsd box. Just used dexron3 last week when I changed the clutch. Think it was 2.5ltrs of millers nano drive cfs 75w90 fully synthetic in my old lsd box on my white glanza and it made miles of difference Quote Link to post Share on other sites
