You can't convert a 2wd to 4wd.

 

You of course can, but you the costs involved are astronomical and by which point you may as well use running gear more suited to 4WD. Evo/Subaru.

 

The exhaust tunnel is vastly larger to accomodate the prop shaft.

^^^^^^ yup, there are a few knocking about the UK, but you're looking at buying an EP*5, then a 4EFTE and turbo kit of choice, and it will need the wiring done to make it all sing.

Its not a cheap process, and if you cant find an EP*5 then you're looking at importing one.

There's a 95 being converted to turbo in NI at the mo and the owner is putting some serious work into it.

That all said, I have ridden shotgun in a turboed EP85 and they are superb.

would anyone like to disclose the location of a nice black ep85 sports selection? I never went for the one that was for sale before as its had a few too many 300bhp 4efte's boosting through its drivetrain

There was a thread a few days ago, person called christucker or something was offering his 4paw to someone.

Ad say any you come across, jump on it. Cant be many left now.
