Exhaust leaking

When i accelerate  my car literally sounds like a wet fart, like someone is blowing a raspberry. I have looked at the engine and where the exhaust attaches to the engine it will not close up on the right hand side (as if you are looking head on at the car). I have had it taken apart and some exhaust putty put in around it and the seal, worked for a while like literally 15 minutes driving and then it is back to making the fart sound again. The left hand side tightened up very well but the right hand side still had quite a Significant gap. I have taken some photos but it wont let me upload them as they are too big. Have cropped them down as much as possible as well.

i'm not sure based on your description, but seems your manifold/downpipe flange is warped

take it off and get it to a machine shop to get it level/straight

if its the manifold, then its even more important, as it can put strain on the head and crack the stud---a common problem with these cars
