Does it start ok? I find it strange that all of a sudden one valve has no clearance. As I said, worn valve or valve seat. Hope the piston isn't touching the valve...hence what the noise might be. William737 Posted December 8, 2018 Author Share Posted December 8, 2018 So had a good look today, swapped some shims about etc. The other shims I had also provided no clearence, the sound changed with different shims I believe this is where the sound is coming from.
