there you go!

to swap them is pretty easy i must say. forgot to make detailed pictures! but here is the step by step explanation:

-Undo lightclips, like when replacing bulbs

-Remove indicator by unscrewing top lil screw and pulling it the indicator forward.

(the indicator is connected at the bottom with a pin in a hole (#1 on picture))

-undo bolt with spanner(10mm)(#2 on picture)

-the headlight is now still connected on 2 spots(#3 & #4)

-on spot #3 to loosen, you have to lift the light

-on spot #4 to loosen, you have to move headlight towards the indicatorside(this is the reason you need to remove indicator, you need the space)

-both spot 3 and 4 should come loose at the same time.

thats about it you have the headlights loose now.

hope its off any use!

Thanks Kevin K! I just had to replace a headlight for the MOT and your post saved much head scratching, as I cannot find a workshop manual for the Starlet. I'm used to 1960's cars- modern stuff is a mystery- so your diagram was excellent help.

Cheers a bunch!

John
