BoostJunkie Posted February 9, 2007 Share Posted February 9, 2007 got new brake pads for my ep82 tried to put them on the car in college today got them on but the discs would hardly move had my lecturer helping but cant understand itany of yous have the same problem,done the rear ones about two months ago and they were fine at first was wondering if it was the right ones but pretty sure they are there apec pad 421 Quote Link to post Share on other sites
rob_bower Posted February 9, 2007 Share Posted February 9, 2007 mine were a bit tight on the sr when i changed mine i used the apec pads to it might just be there a bit to fat!! or that the piston was a bit stiff!! ecksjay Posted February 15, 2007 Share Posted February 15, 2007 yeah you still need to force the piston back in, my friend fitted mine on the weekend (new discs and pads) and he has a special tool to compress the piston back in so he could actually get it all back together, was a big ass clamp type tool.
