Look at what i picked up yesterday, my glanza had gone pop 1 to many times and ive lost intrest in it now, so i went to collect a few parts from my lock up and there it is sitting in the corner of his workshop, well to cut a long story short i brought it lol.

It needs a fair bit of welding to get it through an mot, and the gearbox is whining, but in the places that arent rusty they look as if its never been touched.

need to get some time off work to get the welding/rust sorted.

Just picked up a 2.0 pinto and gearbox for it (might not be to everyones taste lol)

need to think of a colour to paint it, i like the idea of red but i keep changing my mind.

The arches dont fit very well, the cars arches dont curve as much as the fiberglass arches do :)

Thanks for the comments Jack

do you do a brake kit to fit the toyota running gear on the kp's Keri?

I expect a version of one of the existing Toyota/WMS kits will fit - just need to borrow a hub to confirm it and firm up the specs, and get brake lines sorted/fit checked etc.

It's been kicking around for years, so there's a lot of tuning parts available (from the UK).

But it's a old beastie now - 90-110bhp in standard trim (Transit to Escort RS2000 spec), and roughly 165bhp fast road, 180bhp rally/trackday spec 2.1 and allegadly over 200bhp for 2.2/2.3/2.4 overbored break the bank full-race jobs.

So in standard form pretty shit, but can easily be tuned thanks to availability of parts and I'm guessing reasonably cheap, RWD, and a good base engine for any typical 70s-80's RWD family sized or hatchback car?

keri where are you based? i will be after some brake for it, so i could maybe pop up and see what will fit, when its road legal that is lol

I'm in sunny Hastings/Bexhill! :p

I'm hoping to borrow a hub off Bean so we might get something sorted before that - fingers crossed. Be good to have a straight-fit upgrade for the standard KP strut!
