Recommended Posts

im replacing my inlet manifold today with my mirror polished one :)

just thought id whip up a thread before i start as i have never taken one off before!

is it straight forward enough? anything i need to watch out for?

can i do it all from the top or do i need access underneath the car?

any info will be great guys :)

Theres a bracket at the back of the inlet you will need to get under the car to get that off other then that everything can be done at the top off the car.Theres 2 vacuum hoses that go into the back of the inlet just make sure you put a sticker on what pipe go's where as its quite easy to get them mixed up other then that its prity stright forward :)

you can get to it from the top :) i thought the heardest part was removing the wiring loom from the bracket! lol

but if your going to be using the bottom bracket again then i would worry to much about taking the loom off lol

I did this on my GLS, its pretty straight forward but takes patience.

Gotta loosen fuel rail bolts too.

Changing my glanza mani for my matt black one soon...few more hoses etc on the glanza tho
