NOS TESTING VIDS TRD Group A 2E-E

Hi there all, im also from the netherlands 26 years old. Being here an member for a long time tongue.png
I bought an ep70 last year because some maniac with a big american car drove into my door while driving in reverse. So his bumper bounced into my door. And my ep81 was busted/wrecked at 10/20mph lol


SPECS

Had the engine 2E-E tuned up with TRD parts, engine had only run 60.000 miles
Head revision.
Head ported flowed and polished.
New waterpump & timing belt & pulley
TRD Camshaft 280 Degree
TRD Cam pulley
TRD Valve springs.
TRD Head gasket 0.6mm
Paseo JDM Pink 172cc injectors ( Ultra sonic cleaned )
Unknown exhaust manifold from steel 4 - 1. wrapped in thermotec isolation.
Flywheel was machined down to 4.7 kilo's
New clutch Oem
New pressure plate also Oem
Custom choke controle

2 Inch exhaust from header to rear with home made open mufflers. also an nissan custom throttle body between as exhaust volume controller.

Nitrious Oxide System WET
15 BAR / 217 PSI Water injection.
Range Rover Air filter unit.
Tripple core king size cooler / radiator
Bosch Wideband AEM
Oil temperature meter.
Mocal oil adaptor plate.
Oil cooler

Custom piggyback overide function. Stationair, Economical and race/nos function. All controllable with potentiometers.

Disabled the manifold/throttle body heater ( how can you get a cold air intake with manifold/throttle body heater on )

I did weight the car at the scrapyard. It weight 900 kilo's 1984 LBS

And it had an camco alarm system

Car gone end of story for now.
Friend of mine came to pick up the rest, what's left of it.
Did get 40 quid for a emty chassie.

This must be transfert only the rear swaybar and brake units. Trailer arms are to long.
The TRD bushings that are insert into these are stil in. The axle is laying in the old iron garbage

It's quite difficult welding those overlaps. Because the are alway's leftovers from glue kit paint and it smells very bad heating those up.

Looks like new tongue.png my dad did use correless on a celica from 1974 the headlights on the car had alot of rust. 9 years later he looked again and they look just the same way as when he painted them with correless, So i trust this product.

After welding kitting the welds, All rust and paint removed, Then painting with correless then spraying 1 liter motip stone chips in each side.
Then 3 layers of motip Bitummen undercoating each side

I removed All the wiring. The only wiring is the loom to the back of the car. I added a few more wires to it for LPG, Heating for the nos bottle, Rear trunk opener througout an button on dash. Sensor for alarm. Remote cable for EFI fuel pump. and few loose wires.

All the vents works expect the middle ones. Front window must be cleared with the blower as for the MOT / APK. The other ones are extra option for the winter.

placed the battery in the rear for weight & space in the engine bay,

The alarm camco systems RS850 is also beeing installed because of the Central door locking :p Remote trunk opener, Function knowing how hot it is in the car, starting the car remote, and with timer, anti jack function bla bla bla.

The handbrake cables are slightly longer because of the diffrents on the trailer arms. ep82 is longer vs ep70

All done, There are a few mods needed here but no real problems, New seals used new grease.

I've noticed that the diffrents between disc and drums are. Drums are good on low speed driving.

Discs on the rear slows the car on higher speed much better then drums.

Building an EFI fuel pomp into my ep70 tank. Finding the lowest place, Got an plastic can and dropped it into the tank.

Otherwise if you turn hard enough in a corner when driving, The fuel will draw away from its filter and there will be no gasoline to pump, Therefore the plastic can in the tank. And the fuel pomp & filter in the can :p

This is a p9 pump holder and fuel pipe with banjo, Welding it into the p70 fuel plate.

Castor has been improved over the whiteline antilift/caster unit. A higher castor improves overal neg.camber at turning in the corners.. Think of mercedes or bmw.

Pulling up. Few years ago. with my EP82 car weighted 1970lbs Did race against an seat ibiza cupra R with 2.0 liter 16 valve and weight 2400 pounds. It was een draw ( not shown on movie. ) Later when i installed NOS 35bhp nozzle. I got wheelspin in 1st gear until 4th gear with 14 inch rim tyre 185/50/14 tire.

The other time i used NOS my clutch slipped it was new so where the pressure plate.. It turned blue :p So i've bought TRD 212mm clutch and TRD pressure plate. So in an need for an 4efte flywheel.

Also im working on an Custom supercharger! With an Garret AR70 Housing. 61mm inducer. 82mm exducer.

But i have to lower my compression, Did an compression test and every cilinder had about the 13 bar (188 psi ) of pressure, Stock is 9.5 bar. ( 137 psi )

SiCaln: Thanks :) Those bushing are indeed rock solid, I don't have a clue how the comfort will be haha. That's why i choose custom coilovers for the front. Spring rate has to be kept low for comfort, also an oem shock is needed for this.

Front springs are 200LBS and 8 inch long. I also got 300lbs laying arround. But when an swaybar is also added, spring rate will change because the swaybar forces the wisebone to go down because of its tension. Still got 1 TRD rubber in both wisebone :p

On the rear i also used oem fixed springs and shocks, Don't like a bumpy ride because most aftermarket coilover kits are about 4 / 6 kgf.

I will drive this car on public road so i really wanna know how the car handles.

Taggy: Thanks :), I like to change everything hihi. I always got new ideas. Really would like to know how strong the 2E-E engine is :p. also means it can be blown haha. But then i'll move on the my other engine idea

Yeej got an 4efte flywheel from somebody here @ forum. Thanks! ( rare here in NL )

As my other flywheel was 4.7 kilo machined down.Ii left this one at stock weight. Duo to the loss of RPM

As i shift the car, it came under its powerband. Instead of making the car more revvier&faster it became out slower lol. So it had only disadvantages. As it was extremly nervous.

Having some trouble fitting the 2E-E engine duo to a fail engine bracket. Its not straight.

Solved the problem by receiving another engine bracket the one in the tunnel. And for the offset a cast one off an 1E engine. for the timingbelt side.

Vacuum controlled exhaust valve, At wide open intake throttle the exhaust valve is also wide open. And the exhaust gasses makes a shortcut. Is controllable the hose that's controlles the actuator can be set on/off with a ball valve.

The car needs a colour, 1 window needs film, 2 other seats, they are granma hight :sad:


and looking for an turbo right know.


Want to archive 200HP out of a stock 2E-E engine.


Waterinjection will help me to get rid of detonation and heat!.


Don't wanna try NOS then when the turbo is mounted hihi.



What i remember is, that my engine is still alive after nos. +- 35hp gain.


So im mounting an turbo to get always 35hp gain.



The engine can be blown but i don't care for that. Ending up with an hole in the piston, or broken crank, rods,


The pistons won't melt i hope. Engine had only +- 60.000 miles so it's fresh i quess



any of you have a 4efte map sensor laying arround ??


And or an budget turbo ?

I needed to fix the chrome in my headlight and added an led strip into it. The cornerlights glow and also blink for direction.

As my previous experiance was that the rubber seal from the central door locking motor easily breaks. Then it's able for water to get between it and malfunction the motor and unlocking. Also with cold weather it freezes. So fixed this.

Want to keep my door panels in good order, if they get wet they mold, . plastic bag was too much work. As this is easier. :p

Kill switch. to activate another batterie. Because all key locking has been removed.

Paste A microswitch to the intake housing. And welded a little ball to it so it can activate the switch. This is for my 3 way piggyback system.. Econemy mode. Race mode, And with NOS function.

Had some MOT/APK failure duo to high emission 5% is a little bit high it has to be 1 %


Problem was 2 leaking injectors. So the oem 155CC are fitted instead of the 172CC

New waterinjector nozzle bought. BETE PJ10 Finest with less then 50 Microns.

Got some Tee pieces for NOS bottle heater. 2 6mm hoses will go into the car en winded with copper arround the bottle. And temperature controllers for the water injection.

Fitted new tyres @t my brothers garage. Can do alot here


Toyo proxis CF1 185 65 14. a little bit high, but comfor is also nice.


Old yokohama's A series 185 50 14 went to the front of the car.
