morgey
Just fitted the 24mm whiteline one, had to bend a bit if the chassis near the exhaust tunnel, havnt been able to test out the handling tho
Amjad
24mm! Works really well on my NA, had it fitted by a garage a while back when I was getting a CV boot done
ep-beast
whats the dif in 22 n 24 ? ??
Amjad
2mm thickness lol
AdamB
24 is stiffer than 22, and a stiffer front encourages understeer.
little dave
I've been told to steer clear of bigger front anti roll bar as It will make it under steer and as the one that's on there works very well I would probly just replace the bushes and blow money else where
Amjad
People always say that but I don't find my car understeers muchI should also add I was running Poly bushes on the stock ARB before and the improvement was huge using a Whiteline 24mm
har-vey
I am also building this car for the track so road comfort isn't really a problem. Hmmm which one to get
Simon
I have a 22mm one on ebay atm
AdamB
They are a bit of a personal experience thing tbh. They may suit your driving style, they may not.
rmsnoel
@Amjad your noy drivin hard enough man lol.Alot depends on how much you tighten the arb to the wishbones.Tighten them up to give understear in the dry and loosen to encourage oversteer in the wet.Id rather have predictable understeer than oversteer. Im a very fastroad driver and not a trackday hero
rmsnoel
like adam said its abouy personal preference and needs. Are you trying to balance.your car.or.just.on the qurst to go faster? What have you so far man, Id put the front arb down the list behind rear parts, good tyres, wider wheels stiffer shocks, My cornering speeds wemt from 40mph to 85mph with the whiteline rear parts and fresh front bushes on a oem arb same as.amjadFour tyres.the.same is important
har-vey
I have meister r coilovers and will be fully poly bushed with anti lift kit. I will get the rear at the same time so there isn't much else I can get lol.
AdamB
You can always get a FARB, try it and if you don't like it, sell it.
har-vey
^^^ that's what the thread is all about
