The same rules apply for all traders. We aren't covering anything up. If you have a problem with Race-Tech's work why haven't you started your own thread or PM'd race-tech.

Rather then just leaving some shitty off topic remark in someone elses thread?

Nothing to do with king socks... Its very simple to understand really, what are you struggling with?

is constructive??? Really... That's just slander... Not on topic, Not Relivant. If you have had an issue. Talk to said trader, if your still not happy, MAKE A THREAD. Don't just pipe up in another members thread...

I assure you any bad feedback threads have been closely moderated and any random abusive comments, with no information or details whatever will be removed when there completely irrelevant to the original issue...

If any threads are left open, when more then one person is giving bad feedback, it may well be due to the fact a pattern or the same thing has happened more then once. IE, if it turns out there are 4-5 customers with the SAME problem with the SAME trader, then by all means post up in the SAME thread....

If you have had an issue with forged conrods availability with Race-Tech then by all means post your experience...

Not a big deal, not a big cover up, not power happy moderation....

A few years ago or not, ripped off is ripped off to be fair but I do see your point by all means.

I think this threads been handled a lot differently to that of tuning developments, but what goes on behind the scenes while were offline can't always be seen so I'm not going to try and battle blind if you like.

Im confused, is nick22 a liar? If he talked to them on the phone before ordering and the parts where in stock the someone must be wrong.

Both people sell parts on the forum so who's lying?

I think this threads been handled a lot differently to that of tuning developments, but what goes on behind the scenes while were offline can't always be seen so I'm not going to try and battle blind if you like.

We are having to be a bit more firm recently. As it does seem people aren't afraid to jump on the bandwagon. Its not a Zoo, as much as we DONT WANT to have to enforce rules, its a small minority which makes it so we have too..

UKSO is nearly a year old now, we are constantly developing and having to approach and deal with things in much different ways....

There have been major changes in the way things will be handled that were put in place last month, when a lot of abuse between members kicked off...

Anyways, I don't want to clog this thread anymore. Hope Nick/Ricky sort it out...

got a call from Ricky earlier AFTER i made this thread, told me the courier has been booked to collect them and should receive them wednesday/thursday. Delighted that he made the effort to call me and sort things out as I was stressing out a bit cause I desperately need my car back on the road. No need for a refund mate, as long as I get them then Im not fussed. but just for the record when I phoned the first time on Tuesday (2 weeks ago) I was told they were in stock. If you said they werent I wouldnt have ordered them, but thanks :)

Im glad to hear this has been resolved...

When you called we had 2 sets in stock. As said on the phone.



When you ordered, one set had gone out and the other had was going in one of our engine builds so we had removed the packaging, cleaned and checked them and started the balancing process, (this was all explained)



I offered you a refund then, but told you another batch are due in. They had been ordered over a week so said they were due 7 days after. However customs held them 12 days not the usual 1-2. This cannot be avoided at times. Again a refund was offered but you declined.


I spoke to you on Friday out of hours and said I might be calling into work in the morning, try me around 10, if I don't answer i'll speak to you on Monday. We didn't go into work on Saturday, you tried to call me around 20 times on Saturday and Sunday.


I called you back on Monday, again offering you a refund then signed on here to find this.



I can appreciate your frustration but cannot see what else I could do!
