Zisco plenum. 50/50 feed back.

Recommended Posts

Why do people keep saying the same thing lol? I know (now) they all need modding to fit and for the last time I wouldn't have minded if I was like about it all. How hard is it to write on a for sale thread about what you will need to do. I just think it's piss poor for a seller of a company to sell something and not describe what you will need to do in order to fit it and in the long run it will save negative feed back such as this thread now (although as said it's 50/50).

I'm not debating the fact they need mods to fit, it's cool, I understand that now. And unfortunately I can't spend my days sitting about a laptop reading shit about things I have bought to see if it will fit or not.

But fuck it, what's done is done and I just thought people should know MY view on the matter before buying such products like these so people aren't disappointed like I was.

I get you rbz the people that make them know what's involved as they obviousley do r&d test fit and so on be easy just to say you need to change this or that you will also need to buy whatever parts to install how hard can it be to give people a heads up when they spend a few 100 on new parts people

Keep saying you should expect that when moding a car but it doesn't need to be that hard tbh and it's not like they are one off custom parts loads of people have intakes now

It is the joy of modifying as grant and a few others have said. Due to the massive variation in parts for starlets I can understand why no direct instructions were supplied. As for hardware (vac pipes etc) there are plenty of company's around the uk that will be happy to help find the correct thread size and pitch of the fittings. To be honest if some one was developing an inlet, there are a lot of things that need to be taken into consideration. Fitment for one thing. The ancillaries (throttle cable, icv, coolant hose etc) probably wasn't fitted to the test engine while under development.

I do agree that modifying is a hard thing to get your head around sometimes. Challenges pop up all the time. But isn't this why we have the forum? Ask a question and get an answer?

Just glad it's now fitted and hope you get your vac leak sorted out RBZ.
