Dicky-Art
Can't get the speedo cable off the gearbox help needed please! Read that the cable sheath should be held and the metal sleeve should turn. Does A turn independent of B? Or does A+B turn independent of the cable going through it? Noticed that A has a hole into it just above the larger diameter of B.
morgey
B turns separate to A. That's the bit that unscrews. Slide pliers are your friend. Or you Could always undo the bolt beside it and pull the whole speedo drive out together the you can get at it better.

TurboTobz
Try a centre punch and a hammer youd be surprised how affective it can be if not maybe a large easy out
Dicky-Art
The threads were loose and it unscrewed easy! But the parts A & B are still solid, can't even move with stillies and molegrips!Left soaking overnight. If still stuck will need to remove from car and get in the vise.
