Bussey's Billet GT2867 323bhp V

Recommended Posts

Well, thought it was about time to start one of these, I've owned her for just under a year now, and in that time I've had quite a bit done. I'm probably forgetting some bits here but I'll try my best.

Work I've had done follows.

- Custom manifold and front exit made by Quest Motorsport

- Poweflex engine mounts all round ( still need to get round to fitting the last one )

- PAS removed

- Racespec rocker cover made

- Half rad

- HKS ssqv

- Carat rear lights

- Ducktail spoiler bootlid fitted

- Genuine TRD carbon hood scoop

- SSR superlights refurbed in silver

- Stripped out interior minus the seats, dash, roof lining and doorcards

- D1 spec earthing kit

And I'm sure I'm forgetting some other small details

The car was a pretty decent spec when I bought it, lots of goodies on it, and the previous owner treated her well and had a genuine reason for sale.

Anyways pictures

First day I got her image-2.jpg

And now, she's changed a bit

And a little rolling road session to check all was good and adjust my boost controller

Little update, had some shiny braces turn up today, big thanks to socks, easy transaction as always.

But yeah, Front and rear Cusco strut braces.

And a Genuine RSR floor brace, I'll get them polished up and fitted Tomorrow.

Another update,

Had new Hankook V12 Evos fitted on the front, quite happy I did because the old tyres were pretty badly worn on the inside due to my tracking being out quite a bit!

Anyway.... new tyres, tracking and alignment done, braces fitted and some new spark plugs.

So yeah it's been a productive day

Decided I'm going to be going down the ultra lightweight route, fully stripped her out today as much as possible, was shocked how much weight was still in there, plus there's still more!

Race battery

Maybe some carbon fibre,

Time will tell I suppose,

Anyways pictures (it was in 4th, the stick isn't usually that far back :p)

Had some time over the weekend to go and spend some time tinkering,

Dash gone, stupidly oversized heater setup gone, lots more weight out :p

now all I need to do is strip back some useless wires from the loom, and then start making my own dash up.

How's daily driving without the interior? Can't wait to see what you do about the dash...

The dash went back in mate, just with everything behind gone,

The cars still in the progress of getting a complete new look, engine, setup at the moment, forgot I even had this on here haha

Edit: Oh and the cars not my daily anyway :)

Have to say I couldn't handle the dash been off it's asking for police questioning lol! What's next on the cards?

Yeah it was a big moment of madness, looks like it used to now, just with nothing behind it.

On another note, I will be updating this thread a lot more over the next few weeks :)

Currently she is like this :p

Got hold of some second hand sparco sprints, that cleaned up surprisingly well with some washing powder/water/ a Hoover/ and some patience.

Spent some money this weekend.

Freshly refurbed head, 4age valve springs, little bit of headwork. You get the idea.

Also paid RBZ a visit and bought half his garage.

She should be in one piece again this weekend, as I get the wheels and a few other bits back, minus the engine :(
