We have continued to run the club the best we can for you guys and the stats & feedback suggest we are doing it correctly! Thank You to ALL, of you guys. Members, Club Members, The Moderation Team, Traders & Fellow Staff. We definitely wouldn't be here now without you all, lets hope we can push this great atmosphere into a third year! So, lets recap on a few points and achievements for the last 2 years! We Are STILL A Non Profit Organisation This is a very important part of the club and it needs to be kept this way to ensure the club runs consistent and smoothly. We don't mask anything, we are truthful and clear. We are doing this for the Toyota Starlet Scene here in the UK and because we enjoy doing so. There are a few points I would like to point out though: UKSO will never demand for donations from its members UKSO will never demand full membership to use the website from its members UKSO will not automatically take membership payments upon time of renewal UKSO has its own financial accounts, nobody is taking proceeds, any funds generated are put back into UKSO & the Starlet Community The Quality of your Community All the major staff members have full time jobs and help run and maintain ukso as a hobby for people to share interests. Although we've had a few issues with certain members this year, we want to try and maintain a free and friendly atmosphere here on ukso. We always try and be fair and have implemented new rules through the 2nd year for members, traders and staff to try and make sure it stays that way. The website itself has moved through many phases since being launched. Always running the latest clean and smooth version of Invision Power Board, allowing members to easily navigate the board and its many features easily from there PC, Laptop or Mobile Device! We have taken so many suggestions on board from members and if any member finds a bug or has an issue we have sorted it or help out as quickly as we can! Club Membership Club Membership is set at the minimal charge of £1.95. This is such a minimal amount that is purely another way for members to show support to there club. We have had over 790+ people join up to support UKSO over the last two years. Official Traders We have invited many new traders that specialise in certain areas of the Starlet scene to offer our members many additional services. On top of offering services, they offer discounts for club members, support and advice on the forum to members and much more. They play a huge part in the Starlet Community and we will continue to bring in new traders who offer unique services that aren't already catered for! We have brought on many new traders this year and we thank you for making them all feel welcome! Major Shows & Events This is something we have absolutely perfected now we feel, we've had such a strong presence at all the major Japanese Car Shows. Getting huge recognition by show organisers and magazines such as "Banzai" and "Japanese Performance Magazine" offering members full features! 30 Years of Starlets With help from the Toyota GT Turbo Community. We got in touch with Toyota UK, who at JAE this year presented the club and its members with a Birthday Cake & Limited Edition Decals! Big thank you to Toyota UK for this it does mean a lot. We have shared out what we could at JAE and sent over a fair share to Ireland! The Scene Amazingly the scene is still going strong! People have built some amazing cars and some amazing builds are still taking place! Power Records have been broken. New products have been developed. New techniques and guides have been discussed! This is what its all about people! These cars are meant to be rare, the turbo models were never sold in the UK and we often remind the Civic or MX5 boys just how popular this scene is! Club Merchandise We have worked with 'Tuner Lifestyle' for 2 years now and have brought you many pieces of merchandise this year. Josh himself has also come up with many limited edition designs and offered them all to UKSO at very good rates. We are going to continue into the 3rd year bringing you more merch and we are going to be doing a giveaway also, more details on this below! Social Media Such an amazing response on Facebook, Instagram & Twitter from all over the globe! Just having past 7500 Likes in only 2 years, this is a huge achievement and we are very appreciative to you all. We are continuing to reach over 35,000 people a day with this, so if your motor is featured, you will get noticed! We will continue to feature peoples starlet related media on there every day of the week! On top of this we push Traders Special Offers and Group Buys on there, drawing in more audience and making there stay on UKSO worthwhile! UKSO Traffic Many people don't realise what an absolutely huge community UK Starlet Owners is, we keep track and record all of our visitors to the site. We believe we are still the biggest Starlet Owners Club in the world now and we are continuing to grow at a stable and consistent pace. We have traffic coming to us from over 140 countries now also, we are certainly not tied just within the UK! Giveaway Time!
