Phil Posted October 31, 2014 Share Posted October 31, 2014 (edited) yeah you will pay 24.5 import tax you pay 24.5% on the postage cost also. so roughly 805 quid in your hand, plus parcel force handling fee 15 so 820gbp Your cheapest forged build will be Wiesco forged pistons 10cc dish 410 (TBdevelopment) MSR rods 205 0.3/05mm steel Paseo HG 35 2e/4efe bearings 70 all available in the UK 720 and no wait or worry on USA parts. even better if you can pick up parts brandnew or mint condition from other members. I bought piston rings from him and paid no additional fees, may not be the same for more valuable parts though. great-buy-guy is or is part of Alamo. who a lot of UK sellers stock from. your 100% right, very trust seller. for big parcels of kit and the regularity that he ships to Europe i doubt he would mark value down for anyone or he would be put out of business. Piston rings granted, well they arent worth much firstly and secondly customs arent going to know much about their value or care. But big branded parts are customs bread and butter.
