From Left to Right...

coolant temp sensor for air con/hvac.

1, Green/2Pin - Coolant Temp Sensor (ECU) - Mk2/3 GT Turbo

2, Metal/1Pin - Coolant Temp Sensor (Air-Con) - Mk2/3 GT Turbo & Glanza V

3, Grey/3Pin - Coolant Temp Sensor (Dash & ECU) - Glanza V

4, Green/1Pin - Coolant Fan Switch - Mk2/3 GT Turbo & Glanza V

5, Blue/2Port - Idle Control/Choke Sensor - EP91 UKDM N/A

6, Green/2Pin - Coolant Temp Sensor (ECU) - Mk2/3 GT Turbo

7, White/1Pin - Coolant Fan Switch - Mk2/3 GT Turbo & Glanza V

8, Metal/1Pin - Coolant Temp Sensor (Air-Con) - Mk2/3 GT Turbo & Glanza V
9, Metal/1Pin - Coolant Temp Sensor (Dash) - Mk2/3 GT Turbo

Be good to try get a wiki entry to try and identify all these...

1 is gt coolant temp sensor for ecu.

2 is coolant temp sensor for air con/hvac.

3 is glanza Coolant temp sensor incorporating ecu and dashboard.

4 is fan switch for gt/glanza located back of thermostat housing.

5 is idle control for 4efe or choke if you like.

6 is the same as 1

7 is same as 4 (possible different temp fan switch?)

8 is same as 2

9 is gt coolant temp sensor for dash.

You can also get blanks for sensors 2/8 if they didn't come with a/c as standard. Hope that helps.

It's to do with the radiator. The condensor on the front may transfer heat to the radiator and if the engine is overheating the air con will cut out allowing the ram air to cool the radiator. Due to the condensor being in front of the radiator the ram air effectively warms the air going through the condensor and can't cool the radiator effectively.

Hi I'm looking for the part number for the dash coolant temp sensor for a M3 EP82.

It's the one pin sensor no:9 on the list. It sits directly below the ecu temp sensor on the housing.

Mine's came apart when i tried removing it. Checked toyodiy for part no with no luck!

Or if anyone knows where I can get one. Thanks!

which one of the 3 pin coolant temp sensor is ground? which one is for the ecu? which one is for the dash?
