mechiel
hi mates, Would like to ask the pressure relief valve on the block, what's actually his job? My oil pump doesn't pick up oil after I did a general oil change service. Browsed this link http://www.ukstarletowners.com/topic/72474-5efe-oil-pressure-problem/?hl=%2B5efe+%2Boil one of the member said the pressure relief valve was full of gasket, thus I am wondering the pressure relief valve is to used to determined whether it wants to suck how much oil? thanks mate... mechiel
anyone please?
rwdrev
remove sump, remove pressure relief valve, undo the circlip in the end and it will come apart, clean then re-assemble. plenty sealer at both ends of the sump as they are the worst bits to seal. never known them to struggle to pick up oil after an oil change, but if it still dont pick up oil, remove the oil pump, pack with grease and try again
