This has been a long term project for me. I've lost interest more times than enough basically due to having other more interesting cars.

My initial plan was to turbo it and make it a White SR replica with the decals, TTE splitter, TTE spoiler, set of speedines, recaro interior and oem extras.

Anyway here's some pictures.

Glanza S front end fitted temporary to clear the intercooler. I bought one that would fit further back but it doesn't lineup with the turbo kit as nice as I'd like.

Recaro rear seats and there is a Walbro fuel pump fitted in the tank underneath.

Glanza oem recaro fitted along with dash, steering wheel ect.

I cut off the inside rear 4x4 seat bracket and welded it too the oem recaro rails then sand blasted them and powder coated them black.

I made this rad bracket, blasted and powder coated.

The engine was rebuilt with forged pistons and oem gaskets, water pump ect. Vf35 fitted currently but ideally I want something like a ct9 hybrid but more reliable.

I cut these out of a glanza shell I had and drilled the spot welds. The plan was to weld them into the rear struts and boot floor so I can fit a oem 3 point strut brace.

I've sold my ep85 turbo and been working more at this.

I made a 2.5" stainless exhaust, it's 316l grade, mandrel bends, purged and tig welded using v clamps.

Also made the intercooler piping up to the same standard. Using black samco and constant torque clamps.

I've mounted a massive aluminum intercooler and full size aluminium radiator also. Just some small details to finish before it's complete and I'll upload the pics.

The turbo is now a tf035h, I'm looking to get fast response and usable power. Hopefully this turbo will deliver that.Posted ImagePosted ImagePosted Image

Engine bay is getting there. The tf035h actuator only holds 0.5bar so I'm.fitting a apexi avcr as neatly and professionally as possible using black pneumatic 8mm air line and o-clip crimps.

The radiator pipes are all done in 316 stainless, TIG welded and purged. The black samco joiners were cut on the lathe so the ends are perfect. All the clamps are mikalor.

The boost pipes are all stainless also, TIG'd and purged. Same again with black samco and mikalor clamps, the same with the HKS air filter pipe.

Cheers pal. I got the intercooler from rally design. I wouldn't reccomend them. They are a terrible company to deal with.

I'll second this! Lol

thats a shame because thats the exact type of intercooler i want to shorten the route of mine and get of the stupidly heavy hdi one.

why were they bad to deal with?

Got any more updates on this build. really like what youre doing with it.

Dont know the name or colour code pal.

No, but what I was saying was white is a very common colour for those Starlets and you had such a unique colour for it. Almost a shame to have changed it, even more so if that was the original colour.

Looking sweet though.

Yea green was original. The pics with the orange wheels was the first day I got the car, the ones that came on the car weren't legal and the orange ones were all I had.

The picture with it lowered and the Renault megane wheels was getting it ready for its first track day at kirkistown in non turbo form. This was probably 7 years ago.
