Cammy R
My car got washed by the valeters at work yesterday but they used the traffic film remover stuff that we usually use on new vans but it has stripped my roof and quarter panel of all the polish so now my little Red Starlet looks like it's been sat in the sun for a decade. What is best to do because hand polishing only got me so far? Do i need a machine polisher or do i need to cut and then polish?
Arnold
Just be careful with machine polishers and cutters, as if they go dry and get too hot, they'll just burn through the paint and remove it completely. You can always experiment with T cut by hand, but don't go too crazy. Some cutting compounds will be harsher than others. Polish afterwards Edited August 4, 2015 by Arnold
RobSR
Get a DA, some megs cutting compound and one of their micro fibre pads - will sort it out a treat. Edited August 9, 2015 by RobSR
