Any idea where to get the recaro headrests? Only one I can find are in Australia

fuck man can't believe that happened

I know marc really pissed me off but it is a common problem with them see many pictures like mine

Never mind the car is all sorted now

seen it before on civics seems a weak spot

knowing you she will be even better soon

dont give up :)

Same Colin never thought it would happen to me though

Ha-ha she is getting rebuilt now coming off the road in a weeks time for a complete chassis upgrade and engine conversion new spoiler carbon front lip rear diffuser ect ect

Car is now off the road for some work got some big plans for this so keep looking for updates

Very hot yesterday First thing was to start stripping the car down ready to under seal the whole car before anything else

More to follow as I've got 2 weeks off work next week so should make some good progress

So last Saturday i began to strip the rad out and all the other small thing out the way and got the engine out in one with loom still connected to the engine anyone after a complete EK9 B16B motor and S4c LSD box

Took everything out of the engine bay, headlight loom , fuse box , master cylinder , clutch master cylinder , headlights

Once the engine was out i began to clean the lower half of the engine bay and chassis legs and under Neath the car to underseal it here it is going on

Went on a long trip on bank holiday Monday to Suffolk to pick up a complete DC2 subframe for the K-Swap stripped it down for a good clean up and a re-paint

Had a little delivery turn up


Got some genuine rear light seals as mine have gone and are letting in water

Also got a genuine rear Honda badge as mine was fading

Received my 40/40 Brake Portioning Valve from @eternal blue 2000 this morning so can crack on with getting my brake lines made

Stripped the DC2 subframe down for a clean up and paint

Looks like its coming along nice, would love one of these but couldn't warrant the scene tax that comes with old type R Hondas.

hey you might need subframe alignment pins to re install the frame ?? im not 100% on that the civic uses them or not but plenty cars do so do some research on that before the subframe is out of alignment and causes plenty of issues handling wise

good choice on the bay! How come you went for the itr master cyclinder i thought they were 1" same as the ek9? I like those rear chassis leg braces on the ek9. Honda went mental on bracing for these cars.

Was a wise choice mate i think glad i put it back to white

When you go to bigger caliper that uses a larger piston, you are pushing more fluid through the brake lines. Therefore, you should want a larger master cylinder to push this more fluid

Thanks mate they look awesome in person haha they did go crazy with the bracing didn't they

You can get them for DC2 aswell pal
