biggy_ep70
So...i finally decided to start my progress blogi fell in love with this boxy starlet back when i was 15 yearsat that age me and my parents and lil brother moved from surinam to arubathe first time i saw a starlet was a few days after arriving theiras soon as i saw a EP70 i fell in lovethe lines of these cars are amasingit doesnt need much to make them look awesomeand the best part iswith my limited knowledge of car mechanics...i can tinker on it myselfso the journey began(eventhough my first car was a 85 rw corolla...man i am sorry i sold that car....)at age 24 i moved to amsterdamand because i used to dj alot back than i needed a form of transportationi used to visit my cousin frequently and evrytime i was at his place i used to see a ep70 with extra headlights in the grillplus it had a spoiler on the hatchmy knowledge at this point about these cars was very slim/limitedright around that period i was searchin for a car his neighbour decided to sell his starletbought it for NF500(wich is roughly 250 euros nowadays) had all the services written in a book and was wel maintained and didnt have a lot of miles on itthis car was stolen after i had it for almost 5 yearslater when they found it damaged and abandoned a few cities away from where i used to livei than sold it to a friend of mine(my blog on another forum http://starlet-forum.nl/index.php?topic=22727.0) after selling that sarlet i bought a toyota carinaand after that a 5door ep80 for the misses and i drove around in a vw ventothat vento got rear ended and with the money from the insurance i bought another vento plus another ep70(it had a body kit on it and bucket seats sprayed brake calipers neon here and their...sport steering wheel....etc etc)it had the stock 1e engine and i replaced it with an engine from a p8i sold that car in pieces as it was very rusted (when i finally brought it to the apk)so i continued driving around in my red vento untill that car was exchanged for a golf 3 station wagon (golf 3 variant)i sold that car and bought a white p8 (wich i exchanged after a few months of owning it for a ep7)

Teun
Awsome build! Will the Corolla intake make a noticable difference?
biggy_ep70
they say the corolla intake plus obx exhaust should be good for 100bhpa few have done it beforemy 5e engine has been (gereviseerd) revisedso i wonder
Clinternational
True on that one, the tubular intake manifold would be a good solution, also an 50mm throttle body can be an upgrade. Some 5EFE have a 45mm ( latest gen ) Stock 5EFE exhaust manifold is not really a performance piece haha.. Love the wheels mate everyone seems to be going for the 5EFE engine haha, There are 2 if not 3 Generation made ( correct me if im wrong )
