So...i finally decided to start my progress blog

i fell in love with this boxy starlet back when i was 15 years

at that age me and my parents and lil brother moved from surinam to aruba

the first time i saw a starlet was a few days after arriving their

as soon as i saw a EP70 i fell in love

the lines of these cars are amasing

it doesnt need much to make them look awesome

and the best part is

with my limited knowledge of car mechanics...i can tinker on it myself

so the journey began(eventhough my first car was a 85 rw corolla...man i am sorry i sold that car....)

at age 24 i moved to amsterdam

and because i used to dj alot back than i needed a form of transportation

i used to visit my cousin frequently and evrytime i was at his place i used to see a ep70 with extra headlights in the grill

plus it had a spoiler on the hatch

my knowledge at this point about these cars was very slim/limited

right around that period i was searchin for a car his neighbour decided to sell his starlet

bought it for NF500(wich is roughly 250 euros nowadays)

had all the services written in a book and was wel maintained and didnt have a lot of miles on it

this car was stolen after i had it for almost 5 years

later when they found it damaged and abandoned a few cities away from where i used to live

i than sold it to a friend of mine

(my blog on another forum http://starlet-forum.nl/index.php?topic=22727.0)

after selling that sarlet i bought a toyota carina

and after that a 5door ep80 for the misses and i drove around in a vw vento

that vento got rear ended and with the money from the insurance i bought another vento plus another ep70(it had a body kit on it and bucket seats sprayed brake calipers neon here and their...sport steering wheel....etc etc)

it had the stock 1e engine and i replaced it with an engine from a p8

i sold that car in pieces as it was very rusted (when i finally brought it to the apk)

so i continued driving around in my red vento untill that car was exchanged for a golf 3 station wagon (golf 3 variant)

i sold that car and bought a white p8 (wich i exchanged after a few months of owning it for a ep7)

car was in good shape technically....but paint wise it needed a new paint job

lill to no rust

Soon after came japfest.... so i had to make her showworthy

This is what she ended up lookin like

sporting brock rim 7,5j in front and 9j in the back

also added a p7S lip and spoiler and chairs.
Didnt have the doorcards to go along with the rest of the interior
some windows decall

soon after i had the oportunity to buy a 5door ep70 from a friend of mine

didnt want this car to end up goin to africa so i bought it from him

they are quite rare

she had been in an accident and wasnt looking all neat

chasis had to be straightened and i figured might as wel go for a new (original colour) paint job

and decided this would become my project ride

2d1icp.jpg
cleaned the engine bay and fitted sum borbet T 16inches (7.5 in front and 9j in the rear)
also had bought an engine for her (5efe from toyota paseo fully rebuild)

True on that one, the tubular intake manifold would be a good solution, also an 50mm throttle body can be an upgrade. Some 5EFE have a 45mm ( latest gen )

Stock 5EFE exhaust manifold is not really a performance piece haha..

Love the wheels mate :)

everyone seems to be going for the 5EFE engine haha, There are 2 if not 3 Generation made ( correct me if im wrong )
