Easier way to remove lacquer from polished lip on alloy wheels

Recommended Posts

my mate jacked his van up and had it running in gear for polishing the lips, could try that with fine sandpaper or wet and dry.

Just make sure it's well supported on the axle stands

This ive done it a few time this way, it takes all the effort out of it :-)

just be careful to keep the paper nice and wet i got a bit carried away and burnt my bloody fingers haha

I'll do this for the polishing :) the lacquer requires abit more thorough pushing in certain places which is hard when the wheel is moving lol thanks for the tip though much appreciated!
