Bought this car in November 2015 with a bottom end knock.

I told the guy to keep it and get it sorted however he just wanted rid. I made the 10 hour round trip with my cousin to get it with the intention just to rebuild it and sell it on however after having a GT before the glanza, It just ended up giving me the bug again and I had to keep it.

That rocker cover has to be one of the most inventive paint jobs I've ever seen... I like it! Haha

Haha thanks mate I've done my strut brace as well however I can't take the credit. I've seen it from a company called MCR Factory in Japan . His are 100 times better and with candy paint. I just thought I'd have a go with some rattle cans lol

So little update, the car is having a full rebuild with new crank due to the old one being welded to the forged rod

While the engine is out and everything is away for refresh and rebuild im taking some time to clean it up a bit.

Engine bay degreases I will be sanding the rust patches down and re spraying them areas, unfortunately the top slam panel was very poorly welded on at some point so its come off.

while waiting on wossner 74.5 piston rings I matched and balanced the pistons and con rods to within .5 of a gram, the new rod I bought was slightly heavier than the others so that again was weighed either end and balanced to suit

Thought I'd give mine a little update won't go into too much detail I'll let the pictures do most of the talking.

Managed to swap a bumper off Fordie_glanzav top lad and super helpful.

I made a front slam panel to mount my oil cooler and radiator. Fitted my massive intercooler and sorted out my turbo set up. Also managed to smooth and polish up my rocker cover

A big thank you to fiddlersport as well for selling me a Zisco downpipe to complete my turbo set up

Managed to build the engine up and have it fitted within a day. Big push but was going on holiday so wanted this off my mind for a while. Some big parts going in such as all the forged bits, paddle clutch and lightened fly.

Had all the engine mounts poly bushed and had the engine bay cleaned up nicely before the engine went in. I also managed to get the alloys on which I think set the car off nicely.

Nice little before and middle of completion picture at the bottom.

Cheers lads I try do and make everything myself but when it comes to spraying and welding it's best left to the professionals.
