  1. I'm considering starting to show up a bit more once I get a few more parts sorted lol. I'll probably show up to Octobers Jap meet if you wanna cruise over and park up in a big Glanza Club lol
  2. But the tyre is gonna add unnecessary weight. You'd be better off just installing it into the boot floor and adding some sound-proofing to the wheel well. That way you lose a lot of weight and should still have sub that performs well enough for daily use. It won't be bassy enough to win competitions or sound-off, but it'd certainly suit daily use
  3. The other V is owned by a local guy, don't know if he's on here though. Same story for the GT really lol. and Thank you, I've got so much on my list of stuff to do but it's always good to get a compliment lol. Are your Recaro's from an Ignis Sport?
  4. If you try it you'll have to let me know how the audio turns out lol. Surely the best way to save weight is ditching the spare wheel and replacing it with a lightweight sub though? Then you'll get good audio and shed some excess weight at the same time
  5. That'll sound awful though... I'm not too interested in wasting money to make my audio sound terrible
  6. What size sub is that? Also what did you do about sound proofing?
  7. Saw your Glanza earlier this evening, loving the Hello Kitty dash lol
  8. It'd be functional for sure. I'll be using MDF + Fibreglass to build a false floor/boot build for the back. I'm assuming that by installing the Sub in the space where the spare wheel should be, I can get reasonably good audio by soundproofing the hell out of the well? That way the whole thing can be set in the floor of the boot, where it should be (relatively) clear from any obstructions
  9. If you do find yourself down there, look out for a White EP91 with a load of Purple. It'd be cool to see the other local Glanzas
  10. The flickering is intermittent, some days it'll just start happening once it's fully up to temp, others it'll be absolutely fine. I don't think it's the oil pump on it's way out, as the engine was fully rebuilt a few months back I've been told it could be the BOV, apparently it can confuse a few of the sensors if it's exhausting too much to the atmosphere at low revs, which can cause rev dropping (and in worse cases stalling)... Gonna look into changing all the sensors and if that doesn't fix it, a brand new BOV could be happening (which I'm secretly hyped about because I get to rid myself of
  11. As title says, anybody done this? If so, what advice can you give to get the best audio-quality, and have you got any pics of the final result? Gonna be building a false floor in the boot and lining it, but wanna get a decent sub build in there so I have some good audio.
  12. Yeah this Sunday a facebook group called Souther Culture Modified are hosting a meet. Should be pretty good, I'll be down with my V
  13. I had no idea there were more locally! There's big meet down Farnborough Gate on the 16th, should try and get all the local ones together lol
  14. If it had Blue Wheels it was probably me lol. Otherwise there's another guy with a white one who lives around the same area... Think we're the only two (or at least the only two I've ever seen lol)
  15. Hey there guys, Quick question... I was driving to London today, and after a couple of hours driving my engine started to drop revs when sitting at lights/in traffic. The oil warning light flickers on and off but there's a full sump of new oil put in a week ago, so I know it's got plenty left Any suggestions on how to remedy this problem?
